Sponsorship Opportunities
The Purina Walk for Dog Guides is held in over 200 communities across Canada . This multi-site Walk is the only one of its kind. Walks are organized locally by members of Lions clubs, thousands of volunteers and Dog Guide graduates. The Walks are designed to be ‘barrier free' and everyone including dogs are welcome to participate. Celebrating its 25 year history in 2010, the Walk continues to gain momentum. Every year new communities come on board to organize Walks and existing Walks continue to grow in participation and fundraising dollars.
Sponsorship of the Walk is vital to its success. With sponsors offsetting all of the expenses, all donations raised by the Walk go directly to the raising, training and placement of Dog Guides for people with disabilities. Lions Foundation of Canada works to create a relationship that is mutually beneficial for its corporate partners.
